And why is it that I would dress the way I would in Kolkata? Because that’s what the mother and the mother’s mother taught me. It was only once I left Kolkata and was far away from the family and out of their zone that I could finally dress like a normal person, black clothes, fully covered, professional looking. The same thing happened when I went to Hyderabad, I switched over to normal clothes there, then when I came back people told me, “Hothat dekhe mone hochhe kirom boro hoye gechhe.” That’s how I dress when I am not under the family’s radar, normal clothes! And why have the mother and the mother’s mother taught me to wear such clothes, that are so inappropriate in a country like India where no one dresses like that? Because that’s how men can be lured in to cause trouble. End of story. If I dress in normal clothes, there’s no scope of causing trouble with men. If there are no troublesome men, the family cannot do anything, any kind of damage to the world. There have to be dangerous men involved for causing damage t the world. So dangerous, so criminal the mother and the mother’s mother are.
