Note to George W. Bush and Anoushka Shankar –

Is it not important that Johnny Depp is treated justly? Is it not important that Johnny Depp receives justice for being mis-treated by Bollywood? How can we not give Johnny Depp his much-deserved dues? He is entitled to so much from his country and from his government. What is the point in having a government if the rights of citizens are not respected, if citizens are not given the protection they have been promised by the law? How can such an outrageous violation of Mr. Depp take place, to begin with? Is it not important that the release of the Amir Khan plagiarized motion picture, ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ be stopped? It is not fair to Johnny Depp to have the film released in India. Is it fair by any means? If it is not, then how can it be allowed? Or have we all forgotten Johnny Depp’s gifted persona and how he has enthralled audiences for decades? No, we have not forgotten, no one has forgotten. Justice will be served, as is duly deserved. It must, respected Mr. President.
