It’s exposed. Someone I know just visited Gujarat. Everything Modi claimed about Gujarat is fake. There’s nothing. Ahmedabad is a typical Indian shabby town, it’s not even a proper city! The road from the airport to the main city is nice, because sports athletes come down that road in tours. The roads through the city are wide because there’s a lot of space, but zero beautification. There’s not much happening in the corporate sector, which is small. There are no Bengalis, contrary to what the press says. The press has fake news about everything! And the Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel statue is just very tall, that’s all. They could have done something for people instead like government hospitals or schools. There’s no development or cleanliness. And people have no civics sense either! This is the real Gujarat.
