The celebrity as an agent of mass annihilation, that’s a new phenomenon of the 21st century. So, the question is, why are we as a people giving the celebrity so much power? It’s about time that the celebrity was stripped of their power and brought down to the status of a common person since they have a new status of mass murderer now in the 21st century. After all this, do we need a culture of celebrity, in the first place? Maybe the whole concept of celebrity should be dealt away with from the face of the earth. This is exactly why equality is the order of the day and any group or individual towering over the rest is dangerous, that’s what Hegel’s master-slave dialectic says.
