Accenture and Torque Communications are very good companies. And if the companies are very good, the employees are very ill-behaved and ruffians. Why is that? Because they think that since the company is ao nice to them, they are kings of the world and can get away with anything. In Accenture, teams where the manager was very strict, the employees were also very well-behaved. Teams where the manager was not very strict, the people from those teams would do just anything. J.U. engineering students are all well-behaved because there is strict discipline and high standards. Companies like Accenture and Torque are faced with all kinds of new age problems because suddenly there is a massive influx of women into the workforce, a zone where previously it was only men, and they are struggling to find solutions to make the workplace hospitable. I have seen every effort being made from the part of Accenture, from the managers, hr, to solve the problems. However, since these problems are very new, they are struggling to find solutions. The companies are fine. They have no way of knowing beforehand that someone will be an aggressor. They try very hard to make the workplace safe. It’s not the fault of the companies. It’s the fault of those employees who are aggressors. They are the ones who will be taken to court and tried.
