Anupam Roy, a Bollywood singer and musician, has proven to be one of the most worthless pass-outs of Jadavpur University, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Ten professors from Jadavpur University appeared in Raya Sarkar’s 2017 list of sexual harassers in academia. Raya Sarkar’s list covers harassers from all over the world. Jadavpur University had the highest number of harassers from any single university on Raya Sarkar’s list. Anupam Roy, the singer and song-writer, is an engineering pass-out of the same Jadavpur University famous for the sexual harassment of women. Unlike the other engineering pass-outs of Jadavpur University, Anupam Roy remains unemployed. He writes and sings for Bollywood actors like Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bacchan, other harassers of Bollywood, the people from Bollywood who promote an agenda of the sexual exploitation of children. Anupam Roy has earned a reputation for himself amongst Jadavpur University and Bollywood as a harasser of women. He fails to make any real contribution to the world in terms of genuine work in the field of engineering. Rather, he chooses not to work and walk a path of the criminal life, hand-in-hand with other criminals. His motive of harassing women occupies a great portion of his time. The rest of his time is spent in idleness. If this is his stature in the world, why has he not been stopped yet? We have yet another example of a name from Bollywood indulging in criminal behaviour, making a living out of a criminal way of life.

When will Anupam Roy be stopped?

Why has Anupam Roy not been able to gain employment and work like other pass-outs of Jadavpur University? Need I mention that the engineering students of Jadavpur University are guilty of harassing women professors in classrooms. Jadavpur University was in the headlines a few years back for the Hokkolorob Movement, a movement demanding greater safety for women on campus. Peaceful protestors were violently attacked by university officials. This is the mode of operation upon which Jadavpur University funtions, this is how they execute orders. This is the way women are treated in Jadavpur University.
