Note to George W. Bush –
If Johnny Depp is being plagiarized by Bollywood in the form of Amir Khan’s ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, then shouldn’t the release of the film be stopped? What are Mr. Depp’s thoughts on the same? One of the most renowned actors in the world, Johnny Depp, is being victimized and exploited by malicious criminal master-minds in Bollywood. This is highly unacceptable. It is an act that is against the law. Isn’t it the duty of the President of the United States of America to ensure that Johnny Depp receives justice? Johnny Depp is not only a citizen of the United States of America, he is national heritage, he is intellectual property. Why should such a huge violation of intellectual property rights be allowed in the world of international cinema, especially since Bollywood has been guilty of such crimes for decades at a stretch? The practice is old. Isn’t it about time that this abominable practice in Bollywood is finally put a stop to and laid to rest in its grave? Isn’t it necessary to protect Johnny Depp and his unique creative genius and gifts by stopping the release of ‘Thugs of Hindostan’? Is it acceptable that there are instances of such mass-scale plagiarism of Johnny Depp in Bollywood? Johnny Depp must receive protection. ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, as a result, cannot be released. That is the only way to protect the intellectual copyright of Johnny Depp. Respected Mr. President, it is hoped that you will provide the necessary help to Johnny Depp.
